As we shared in the past here and here and here, we’re looking at formal learning — workshops, trainings, etc. — as an entry point to the agile innovation cycles the Mind Settlers platform supports.

Workshop Scenarios: Prototype

What’s needed for this entry point? An experience that delivers value for both facilitators and for participants during the workshop and sets people up for future action.

Here’s the high-level concept, using a ‘formal learning’ entry point…

We reckon we can enhance connections, shared learning and future action. We’re leveraging many existing Mind Settlers platform technology and components (such as content, teams, collections, collaboration and capturing value) in a new context, with a new interface — built for use on web, Android, and iOS. Consider it the first device-agnostic component of Mind Settlers.

Our sister company Shiftup — currently delivering workshops for innovation leaders — have agreed to collaborate with us and also test our workshop prototype as part of their own innovation cycle.

The current Mind Settlers (Android) App…

Our Mind Settlers app — supporting individuals as they innovate while solving problems at work — is alive and thriving, and new content is added every week.

P.S.: Once the new formal learning prototype is delivered and validated, we’ll determine the ‘what, when, and how’ for translating current Mind Settlers app functionality to iOS and/or web.
